MBP Promotes Gregory Stavrou, PE to Branch Manager

Fairfax, Virginia - MBP is pleased to announce the promotion of Gregory Stavrou, PE to Branch Manager of the firm's Fairfax office.

Greg joined MBP in 2009 as the Regional Director of Business Development for the firm's northwestern Virginia region. He has more than 16 years of years of professional service experience with federal, state, local government, and private clientele. His areas of expertise include civil engineering, project and program management, construction management, business development, operations, contract management, and design oversight consulting.

"He has contributed in a number of areas beyond essential business development functions. We know that Greg will bring the necessary level of energy and enthusiasm to this new position."

Before coming to MBP, Greg worked with a large international professional services firm, serving as Group Manager for their civil engineering design practice in Northern Virginia. Additionally, he performed as one of the BRAC Integration Program Managers for Fort Belvoir. There, he provided on-site program management and integration of 140 projects related to infrastructure improvements and vertical construction required to accommodate the relocation of approximately 20,000 additional employees to Fort Belvoir and the Belvoir North Area.

Greg graduated from George Washington University with a Master's Degree in Engineering Management and from George Mason University with a Bachelor's in Urban Systems Engineering. Stavrou is a Designated Plans Examiner for Loudoun County, a member of both the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce and the Construction Management Association of America.
